  1. Yes thats true, ISO is already rounded up by the correct block size. Not sure if it is the limitation of the HFS+, but Apple needs to look after it. Anyway, thank you very much LUK for your help, and keep up the great work with this awesome software. If you wish, feel free to close this topic, since I have received the answer to my problem. I will just use ISO images or reformat my Windows partition to have more space copying over my workflow. Best regards.
  2. So I think I should write to Apple Support, since they're messing up something with these block size thing.
  3. The version of BootCamp that I am using is 5.0.5033. I guess than Windows does not even read HFS+ without this driver provided by Apple, so the problem is not easily solvable by ImgBurn itself, since under Apple the size of the file is reported as 1080bytes also. The only interesting thing is that if I build the ISO image on an external NTFS, and than copy the image file to the HFS+ partition, it can be used by ImgBurn to burn it on disc under Windows (BootCamp), which is weird since the size of that ISO should be recognized wrongly just like the other files, and it still does not give me any EOF error, and the burn is flawless.
  4. After reading your post, I have double checked the properties of the file under Windows 8.1 again. Right click on file (file is on HFS+ Mac partition): size of file 4KB size on disk 4KB Right click on file (copied over to Windows partition): size of file 1080bytes (1,05KB) size on disk 4KB Disk Layout reported: size of file 4KB (from the HFS+ partition) size of file 1080bytes (from Windows partition) File to ISO is working when file size reported as 1080bytes File to ISO not working when file size reported as 4KB
  5. I am referring to Windows' file properties. The right click type on file. File size is 1080bytes, size on disk is 4096bytes (4KB). The 4KB also shows up under the Disk Layout window as you can see. The error informed us that only part of the file is readable. No idea why it happened since 1080bytes were read correctly, but ImgBurn might uses the size on disk size instead. Don't know what is up with the size on disk thing since I am not a computer expert. I can only give you the details here, and hope it can help you to solve this problem. As I have read in the other topic that I have also linked a few comments above, it has been reported that the error comes up when the user is trying to use Build Mode (or Write from Files Mode) and the source file/folder is on any kind of HFS partition (external, USB drive, etc). So it certainly means that we can leave alone the Mac and BootCamp here, because the problem is only related to the file system itself. If you have access to an external drive that you can format to HFS and try to recreate the same error, it might gives you even more details that I can. I have to say thank you for your help, and please let me know if I can do anything else to get over this difficulty.
  6. All right, here is the Disc Layout, I am not sure which windows were the important part, but I am guessing you need to see how does the Build project looks like, and what is the size of the index.bdmv file. Also I am not sure if it is important, but the Properties shows that the file size is 1080bytes, but it takes 4096bytes on disc.
  7. Could you please specify the steps how should I get the 'Advanced' Input Mode? Also how can I attach the screenshot here on the Forum?
  8. The file size seems correct, it has been reported as 1080 bytes, although I am not sure if the HFS+ has any effect while I am using Windows via BootCamp.

  10. All right, that's makes perfect sense. I am currently running an other task with ImgBurn that I would not want to interrupt (not even with multisession) so my next log update will be here in the next hour or so. I was looking through the Support Forum before posted my question, and I have found a very similar problem although it was not solved as far as I can tell. Here is the link: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?/topic/15784-mac-bootcamp-issues/?hl=%2Bbootcamp&do=findComment&comment=122467 As I read through the comments, I can tell it is not OS specific, since it threw the same error under XP and Windows 7 as well. I am not sure if the Windows can even read HFS natively but BootCamp installs a few driver at the first start, so it could be possible that BootCamp's "stuff" allows me to read the Mac's partition under Windows. (How bad it does not allow me to write on it. )
  11. I forgot to mention why I am not storing the files/folders that I would like to burn on the Windows' partition instead. The answer is easy, the free storage space is very limited, that's why I also tried to find the work around with an external HDD, but it still a bit time consuming to copy everything from the Mac's partition since I create most of my personal workflow on Mac, so it is right there waiting for burning properly.
  12. No, sorry for my misleading sentence. When I wrote that it is not file specific, I was saying that it does not matter which files or folders I try to build the ISO from, or burn the disc from. As long as the files or folders located on the Mac's HFS partition, ImgBurn throws the same EOF error every single time. If the exact same files/folders are located on an NTFS partition however everything works like a charm. And the weird thing is that with already built ISO image files the burning from the Mac's HFS partition works, so I was thinking it is because ImgBurn only reads out the ISO from the partition bit by bit. I am not sure what does ImgBurn do while building ISO from files, but the reading process could differ from the above mentioned "Burn from ISO" reading process. Normally I would think that it reads out the files/folders and builds the ISO to a writable partition, but it might does something else locally in the background and certainly the Mac's HFS partition is not writable under Windows. I will post the new log that you have requested as soon as I can, and thank you very much for your support.
  13. Dear ImgBurn Support Team, I am using ImgBurn v2.5.8.0 on a Windows 8.1 installed via BootCamp on a Mac. I have folders that I would like to burn to a BD with ImgBurn, however since my files/folders are on the Mac partition (HFS+), and it is only readable by the Win8.1, it throws an 'EOF' Error every single time. Does not matter if I want to write the folders straight to the BD, or try to build an ISO image file, it throws the same error, which is not file/folder specific either. It seems like the only problem is ImgBurn somehow tries to write on the HFS Mac partition. When I copy the same folders to an NTFS external HDD, I can burn the disc from it, and I can even build ISO image file. Also I can burn ISO from the Mac partition as well, so I am guessing in this case ImgBurn only reads the ISO and does not try to write as it might happens in Build from Folder or Write from Folder mode. Here is my log when I tried to Build an ISO from folders from Mac partition (D) and save the ISO on a different readable/writable partition (I): I 15:03:14 ImgBurn Version 2.5.8.0 started! It is easily solvable by copying files to the external HDD and build or burn from there, but it would be nice to get a solution for the problem, since ISO files are easily burnable straight from the Mac partition already. Thank you.
