I rarely use DVD-RW/+RW (had more experience with CD, but that's another matter), so I didn't remember about having to pre-format +RW. Right now I'm rewriting the +RW, and it didn't ask for reformat this time, fine. That said, sorry about the -RW: actually it's another +RW, my mistake. Then it could have happen I erased it long time ago, putting it back to non-formatted state, here's why it had to be formatted again. A couple of days ago I did put in an erased DVD-RW disc, and started to write an ISO image, but ImgBurn asked me to erase it (full erase, slow): I was a bit surprised, but I acknowledged, and everythign went ok. Today I had to copy another ISO image to a brand new (still wrapped) DVD+RW disc, and then again it asked me to do a full erase before! Now... is that so common to happen? Maybe I didn't notice it for a long time because rarely using rewritable media?
