  1. Hi Lightening UK, I've consulted a DosBox author and he stated the following "The Joliet extension is not compatibile with DOS 5/6 MSCDEX and thus not supported with DOSBox's IMGMOUNT. In your situation I would mount the image in Daemon Tools in Windows, so the Joliet filesystem will be read, and then MOUNT that virtual drive in DOSBox; but note that any long filenames or ones with embedded spaces will be seen by DOSBox with shortened names." This resolved the image problem in DosBox. Regards, RocknRollTim
  2. Thanks Lightening UK, I'll do just that, thank you for all your help and I'll keep you posted about the image situation. Many thanks, RocknRollTim
  3. Hi Lightening UK, I've opened the problem image in IsoBuster and the file system is .cue. Also I was able to open the Readme in IsoBuster and this is what it contained "This disc is in the Microsoft Joliet format, with long filenames in Unicode. It requires Microsoft Windows 95 or Windows NT to be accessed." Is this any help to you? Thanks, RocknRollTim
  4. Hi Lightening UK, unfortunately the readme file isn't accessible in DosBox nor in a disk image utility such as PowerISO, however all files are appearing in the image file though using PowerISO except the readme file, all image files have been made in ImgBurn using ISO9660 Joliet but when observing the Imp ID for the disc in which I created the image file from and having trouble with, it's all gobbledegook whereas all other discs are showing the Imp ID in clear text and some with Unknown, is this normal? Also is there a way to change the image format from ISO9660 Joliet to UDF in the program? Game I'm trying to get to work from a .cue file is French with Rayman but games I got to work from .cue and .iso files using ImgBurn are Quake, Tomb Raider Unfinished Business, Maths and English with Rayman Volume 1, Maths and English with Rayman Volume 2, Maths and English with Rayman Volume 3, Original Rayman with music but can't install Rayman Gold and Rayman Designer in DosBox and only works in 32-bit versions of Windows, Original Rayman without music but can't install Rayman Gold and Rayman Designer in DosBox and only works in 32-bit versions of Windows and Tomb Raider. Thanks, RocknRollTim
  5. Hi Lightening UK, I have tried burning the same CDs using 2 other laptops as well as a PC and none them were showing any warnings in the console window unlike the first laptop I was using as well as the external CD burner, however upon mounting one particular image file in DosBox, the image file only shows the readme file and none of the other files and folders that should be there in order to install, setup and to run the game, does this indicate a problem with the disc? I am able to get the game to run from the CD in order to play on all of the laptops as well as the PC in DosBox. Also with regards to the warnings that ImgBurn highlighted on the first laptop as well as the external CD burner, does this indicate that the lenses need cleaning in both drives or does the firmware need upgrading for both drives? Thanks, RocknRollTim
  6. Hi Lightening UK, sorry I took so long in getting back to you, I used an internal DVD/CD Rewritable Drive (DH-20A4P) and converted it into an external using a USB to ATA/ATAPI Bridge kit with plugging it to the same laptop in which I created most of the image files, however upon creating the image files I noticed some warning messages within the logs in which I have attached and was wondering whether you could clarify what each of the warning messages meant, does this mean that some of the image files won't run as expected? I.e. play sound and music and/or install? Thanks, RocknRollTim 140809_ImgBurn.log
  7. Thanks Lightning UK I should have cottoned on to that, however I've got a problem with burning one CD in particular and the program keeps getting stuck on "Analysing Tracks..." Are there are any suggestions you can suggest to resolve this problem. Thanks, RocknRollTim
  8. Hi there, Can anyone give me some pointers on how to create .iso, .bin and .cue files from CD DOS games in order to mount into DOSBox. Thanks, RocknRollTim
