I can't even get it to write. It just hangs there and then errors out.

I have been using Imgburn for a while now and have enjoyed it. However, the past 2 .img files I have tried to burn have not had any success. The program will be stuck on "Writing Lead-in" then the drive will keep spinning then slow down, then try again etc. until it errors out. I have a BenQ DW1655 and use verbatim discs. All my previous burns have been superior and without a hitch. I just find it weird it is doing it all of a sudden. Also, the program used to automatically choose 16x speed, now it just says MAX.
