The disk appears to be 100% complete when I look at it on my computer, but when I put it in my xbox it doesnt read the game, it just acts like theres no game in the drive at all. When I try to verify it, it fails. Does that mean that either my drive or the disk caused an error when writing and it wasnt fully written properly?

Yes, I used to normally burn on 4x and it used to work for me fine. After failing finalization a few times I decided to switch to 6x and it worked for the game I originally failed finalization with, but then I tried a different game and same problem, writes the game fine, gets through finalization fine all the way to 99% then says failed. Hello was backing up one of my xbox360 games and the game seemed to burn fine during the whole burning process until it got to 99% finalised, then it said Finalization failed. The drive is an Optiarc 5280S-CB-Plus and the disk is a Verbatim DVD-DL 8x. I put my drive away for about 6 months and when I took it out it burned a few games fine but now its doing this. Can these games be saved and manually finalized? Ive tried the Tools-Drive-Close Track and nothing happens when I click on it, Ive tried all modes.
