I tried burning the same DVD-R with a different burner in another laptop with ImgBurn and it burnt just fine without any problems. So I'm assuming that there's problem with my previous burner. I already tried cleaning the lens with a tissue paper little moist with perfume but it didn't show any positive result. I guess the drive needs to be sent to the technical person or either it needs to be replaced. Your thoughts ?

And the burner is the same which came built in with the laptop (which is probably 4 years old)

The disc is : Maxell DVD-R (1-16x) probably made in China which I bought from a local store. Tried two different discs and ended up with same problem.

This is my first time burning a DVD (I've burnt CDs before) I just burnt a CD-R using ImgBurn but can't burn this DVD-R.
