thanks for your help. yes indeed it is my god of war II i am trying to backup. i use -R because i read so many times that they are better for the ps2. since i am not so experienced with ripping dvds it would be harder for me to shrink it to dvd5. i?ll try if it?ll run after burning with the error message.

hi there. i wanted to make a copy of a dvd of mine. i searched for a guide and found this one here: http://board.gulli.com/thread/720379-tutor...a-god-of-war-2/ i did everything step by step, except the fact that i can?t change booktype because i have no DVD-R option as "change for" option. i am using a nec nd 4570a. and verbatim dvd-r dl dvds. as i read in another topic if i use these kind of dvds i don?t have to change the booktype to dvd-rom. i set "layerbreak" to calculate optimal and chose write speed 4*. now if i want to start burning the disk i get an error message: cannot set the layer break position when burning a dvd-r dl media in dao mode. do you want to continue? now my question: do i want to continue? will it work anyways? best regards flitsch
