Thanks to both members for replying. I have DVD43 on my PC, and that seems to help with the copy protection problem. I have used ImgBurn a lot, and only with DVD back-ups, and haven't yet had a problem until today. I tried cleaning the one disc, and it still had an error at 9% during the build process. I also went to my friends, borrowed his copy of the same film, and it has just done the same thing at 9%. Should I give up, or does anyone else perhaps have a suggestion for me? Thanks!

The last two DVD's I've tried to make back-up copies get this error message during the building process: Cannot read from file: E:\VIDEO_TS\VTS_03_7.VOB Reason: The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error. Anybody have a solution? Thanks!
