  1. I realize this is an old thread, but I too have inserted a disc that ImgBurn has recognized as ( Disc id : 0@P-!-00 ) However DVDInfoPro & CDSpeed sees it's Media code/Manufacturer ID as (SONY16D1). Anyway I though it might help the next guy in finding out what it is he is looking for if I posted the info below. PS: Thanx for a great program! DVDInfoPro MediaCode Submit.txt
  2. I believe this is what You asked for, however there are a few Screen Shots I'd really like to show You,. For instance how the laptop's Burner see's the burnt DVD-5 via Img Burn / DVDINFOpro Scans as opposed to the desktop's. PS: I hope You don't mind that I've taken the liberty of attaching 1. ---------------------------------------- LITE-ON DVDRW LH-20A1H LL0D (ATA) Current Profile: DVD+RW Disc Information: Status: Complete Erasable: Yes Formatted: Yes Sessions: 1 Sectors: 2,295,104 Size: 4,700,372,992 bytes Time: 510:03:29 (MM:SS:FF) TOC Information: Session 1... Also note that the Lappy sees the disc as it truly is (DVD+R) while the Litey sees it as a DVD+RW (error).
  3. "I thought UN-installing/Reinstalling ImgBurn might help My issue prior to coming to this forum so I don't have a log to add" Is there something else I can do besides reburning the image again to get a log? What's strange is, I've read that verification can be a real pain, But when I put the burnt (D-21) into My notebook, I can copy it off of the D-21 onto the notebook & then verify it via the Notebook no problem! Then re-burn that .img onto a DVD+RW & watch it on the Sony Set-top or PS-II. In other words by all accounts the disc is fine it's just My Litey cant read what it wrote to & was able to read prior to burning to it?
  4. Excuse Me if the answer is rite in front of My face but, I've read the FAQ's & searched the better part of the day away & I've found nothing. I'm on XPSP3 w/a LITE-ON DVDRW LH-20A1H(LL0D) w/1Gb DDR I successfully made a copy of My Star-Wars Compilation & it plays perfectly on all 4 of My DVD players through-out the house. However if I put the burnt Disc back into the very burner that I used to burn it, I see the strangest things. Allow Me to explain: No matter what program I use, the burnt disc is never seen as a DVD, but rather as one of the following. "Blank DVD" / "Not a DVD" / "Blank DVD+RW with a Bitset of DVD-ROM" . However the Pioneer DVDRam in My Notebook deal's with the burnt disc just fine. In fact I can copy the .img file onto My notebooks hard drive & verify the burnt disc against that copy. It's like the disc, Imgburn & the img all work exactly as expected. The media I'm working with is supposed to be 1st class media > http://www.digitalfaq.com/reviews/dvd-media.htm I personally think it's My LH-20A1H(LL0D) but other than this burn, "I've never had this happen before" besides I use My desktop to burn media not my Slimline, so you can clearly see I need to get this sorted out. Also why is it when I put the Sony D21 into My Litey (why didn't it balk then?) before I burnt the copy rather than after? Please any insight to this issue will be greatly anticipated Xproject187 Update: "I thought UN-installing/Reinstalling ImgBurn might help My issue prior to coming to this forum so I don't have a log to add"
  5. Dude: I don't have much cash so I can't send You any but, I do want to say thank you for creating a very easy to use program, "No doubt about that". The trippy part is, that you support it here at this forum, I mean thats way out Dude, it's like Your a celebrity but your here everyday available to talk to! Anyway because of ImgBurn I've been able to make copies of My Lil Girl's DVD's & thats way good. Otherwise I don't think I'd have grasped the whole file structure thing. So from Me, My Old Lady & Our Lil Girl, I send a big thank You from Northern Cal. !Stay-Up! ~Xproject187~
  6. I'm new to Imgburn & I'm just learning to use it within another Great Program Favc. A few years ago I Slipstreamed SPII into XP & Burnt a Bootable CD with Roxio Easy CD Creator & now of course it's wore out & I need to make a copy of it before it's Completly-Unreadable. I no longer have Roxio & besides I don't want to start from scratch if I don't have to,then I got to thinking (I bet Imgburn will do it in 1 swoop) so I came to Your site hoping to find a Guide on how to Make a back-up copy of My XP-Install CD but after conducting a search on Your Forum as well as reading it's FAQ's & Guides section I've been unable to confirm My notion, but rather I came up with a whole new set of concerns (SPII charcters issue) when I found this thread http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtop...windows+install But anyway here's My Question: Will it be as easy as Launching ImgBurn in Read-Mode/Browse to My D#092; Drive & select the SS-WinXP-SPII Install CD & save it to My C#092;Drive as an ISO ? Then Relaunch Imgburn in Write-Mode & burn the saved ISO to CD-R ? You mean there is no need to extract the IMG file with IsoBuster like in Roxio / Nero ? & if so what of the settings while creating this back-up? Could You please be so good as to point Me in the rite direction because somehow I've made 2 Coasters while trying to get this accomplished in Imgburn Thank You for a Great Program & for any Help / Direction & Consideration.
