  1. When I rent movies from the video store and read them to my computer as ISO they are about 7.8GB or so. I just came across another burned DVD that my computer says is a DVD-ROM(but the disc is a DVD-r) and it is like a movie you would get at a store(has menu screens) but its only 4.6GB and when I put it in my drive imgburn reads it and says that it came from DVD Shrink(I have it as well). So I thought I could use a DL and it would work turns out my drive doesnt burn DL. how do i burn all my 7.8GB ISO files without buying a new burner. I tried compressing the files with Winzip and it will only compress it a few hundred kilobytes. And I haven't figured out how to "shrink" a DVD with DVD Shrink. I keep getting an error message that reads 'open failed: requested path not found'. What does a layer break mean? is it the difference between the movie and the menu screen? The DVD-ROM is the new HP 5 and it plays in all my dvd players but not on my computer. I guess what I'm asking is how do I fit my 7.8GB ISO onto a 4.7GB dvd-r?
  2. I've had an I/O error but only on one DVD and it was Rush Hour 3 it happened when I was trying to read it on to my computer as an iso file. THats the only problem I've had out of this program. I'm thinking it might be the DVD itself but it plays fine. Are there any other explanations for why that one DVD acted up?
  3. I have a VLC player but even when i put it on the computer i burned it on it still won't play. Is there any way to copy a dvd to a blank w/o reading it through imgburn. i have a DVD-rom and a DVD burner on one computer. I used to be able to do it with record now but my hard drive crashed and i lost it.
  4. I used the guides for build mode and it worked but when I put the disc in my other computer it opened fine and showed me what was on it but it would not open.
  5. I have an ATI TV wonder pro card and i record movies and shows on to my computer. I can record in different ways. the file extensions are .mpg and .vcr imgburn won't accept .vcr but it works on .mpg I can add them to the source and it all goes fine and everything tests ok and it verifies but nothing writes to the disc.
  6. I have a Phillips DVDRW burner and a DVD-ROM drive and im using sony DVD-R discs and evrything works and imgburn says it all verified but when i put the disc in any of my 3 DVD players it says its a bad disc. Before my harddrive crashed i had recordnow and could make copies using both of my drives but ive lost that. is there anyway of doing that with this program? I've wasted 3 discs already
