  1. HI, My first post, and i like to compliment u whit this wonderfull initiative to make IMGBURN Second, i want to point out ive searched toroughly through this forum hoping to find some one whit an similar problem like mine but to no vail!? I bhought myself an samsung S203D burner. And the problem i have is that imgburn "SOMETIMES" get stuck at setting the LO/1 break after i initiate burn command to burn my dual layer!!? The application freezes/hang and iam forced to do an hard reboot of my computer. Other times it proceeds and go past the LO setting but right before the lead-in i get an error message (i forgot wot it wos) and i had the option to cancel or retry. Now when i choose to retry the error returns always, only when i use cancel it somehow ignores the problem and start to write the dual layer all the way to the end (finishing the backup) . And the backup is of very good quality too when playing it in my stand alone!!! The media i use is VErbatim and only vERbatim DL, and since it hang before writing the lead in iam lucky to say that i can re-use that same dual layer again and it works. But only after a few tries. My geuss is it maybe have something to do whit the fact i have chosen the booktype first while the blank is loaded (otherwise i simply cant choose bitsetting whit that device) I cant show a log since it didnt even started to write anything therefor nothing is report other then that ive closed imgburn because of the crash / hangup more or less!!? I KNOW for sure its not the BATCH/SPINDEL and much less the media nor the drive!! Ive tested the burner in nero using an dual layer aswell and everything went according to plan. The disc played flawless afterwards in my stand alone too!! One important thing though, have an liteon 20A1P burner installed too. And i have NO problems at all whit the application. Its possible this coud be an SATA + IMGBURN combo problem aswell!!! Just an idea!! Any advice woud be welcome, urs kabster,
