CDaniels1987
oh and i have the Lite-On SOHW-1693S which is an older writer, i keep getting DDR when backing up 360 games using AONE disks, would it be worth me trying the verbatim 8x disks (writing them at either 2.4x or 4x) or should i just get a newer writer? mmalves
Depends on your burner and its firmware. Make sure you have the latest firmware by using the appropriate feature in ImgBurn's Tools menu Most burners can burn the Verbatim 8x (MKM-003-00 dye) DVD+R DLs at 4x, 6x and 8x; some allow 2.4x and 10x too. You're likely to get the best quality at 4x or 6x on those blanks.
CDaniels1987
ok thanks, out of 10 disks on AONE only 1 has worked so im guessing verbs should be fine.
mmalves
Try one or two with your burner to see how it works out. If it doesn't work OK then I guess you'll need to get a new burner, which is pretty cheap these days Have you looked at this thread? Maybe you can find the 2.4x Verbatims in online stores
