DizzyThermal Posted June 25, 2009 Share Posted June 25, 2009 Verbatim DVD+R DLs in a LITE-ON DVDRW LH-0A1P with Firmware KL0P (Latest) Device Not Ready (No Reference Point Found) That's basically it.. I've used this burner to burn onto Verbatims from this same spindle and have had no trouble, but for some odd reason the past four I've pulled out have given me a 2 minute load time to just display Device Not Ready (No Reference Point Found) Now, I've checked the capabilities that my drive has in IMGBurn's Device Capabilities and it can read and write DVD+R DLs.. I've also went and got the latest firmware from FirmwareHQ that went without errors and I have no idea if there is something I'm doing wrong or if there is something I've over looked. Maybe disassembling the drive manually and using some kind of cleaning agent with a cloth material on the lens? What puzzles me is that this drive has worked before.. Yeah if you are careful and confident you can pull apart and back together some Isopropyl alcohol and a lint free cloth e.g (spectacle/lens cleaning cloth) then clean lens.
