truettguy
Alright I am a total IDIOT when it comes to burning movies to DVD. I would really like to be able to burn my movies from my computer onto a DVD so I can play them in a standalone DVD player. Here's what I have done so far... help me figure out what I am doing wrong and what I do not understand... The particular tv show that I downloaded happens to be in Matroska Video format. I know absolutely nothing about video formats and all that stuff. But I used imgburn to create a video file. I then burned that ISO onto a DVD-R. It will play on my computer but I can't get it to play on my DVD player. Is that because the DVD player is a piece of crap or is it because I have no clue what I am doing? Any help is greatly appreciated.
LIGHTNING UK!
ImgBurn doesn't convert video files. If you want a DVD Video disc you'll need to convert your files with another program - something like ConvertXtoDVD or DVD Flick will do the job.
