Automatic update

Hello,

 

I would like to suggest an automatic update option for the program.

As far as I know the way it goes right now is you get a notification that a new version is available (if activated), then you download the newest version, uninstall the older version and install the newest.

Downloading, uninstalling and installing take very little time but an automatic update option would be more convenient.

 

Also would like to throw in an extra vote for multisessions.

Reason would be convenience since it's always nice to have it as an option but it has been discussed already so I'll just leave it at that.

You don't need to uninstall the old version before installing the new version: the new version can overwrite the old installation and keep the user's settings.

That does make it a bit easier but an automatic update option similar to utorrent would still be more convenient.

Just one click and it automatically downloads and updates... but the way it's now is not a real hassle so yea...

But fully automatic updates cannot work unless you're running your usual sessions while logged in with administrator rights .... which is a Bad Idea ^[TM], though many people seem to like doing it.
