I tried to burn to a Memorex DVD+R DL 8X 8.5MB and the burn was sucessful but I can't view the movie on either my laptop using Windows Media Player (Vista) or on my Panasonic DVD Home Theater. I can see the files on the DVD but they will not play. Yes I have read that Verbatim Media is the best choice. Before I spend the money on Verbatim DVD's I need to know if ImgBurn will burn to DVD-R DL. It seems from what I have read that DVD-R is compatible with more DVD players than DVD+R. So my question is will ImgBurn burn to DVD-R DL disks? Also any ideas why I can't view the movie I created on the DVD+R DL using Windows Media Player? Thanks. LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 7, 2009 Share Posted October 7, 2009 Don't use DVD-R DL, they're rubbish. DVD+R DL are the standard DL discs. If you have a problem, post the burn log and make sure it includes the Write+Verify operations. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
