Cynthia Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Hi and welcome to the forum, pozativenrgy! Try the latest TO03 firmware. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Samsung/TS-L632H/files.html There is also a later version of ImgBurn.
pozativenrgy Posted October 24, 2009 Author Posted October 24, 2009 Thank you for the welcome. Are you sure that is the correct firmware for my drive?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Is it in a toshiba laptop? It would make sense that it is, what with yours being TO01 and that being TO03. Vista SP2 is out too btw, so update that when you're updating ImgBurn.
pozativenrgy Posted October 24, 2009 Author Posted October 24, 2009 this is really weird, I have confirmed that is the correct firmware, and confirmed my drive in the properties, but when i try to execute the firmware update it says that it isnt the correct firmware for my drive grrrrr!
Cynthia Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 You could try to use the automatic firmware updater from Samsung. http://www.samsungodd.com/eng/ Press the link to the 'Firmware LiveUpdate program'.
pozativenrgy Posted October 24, 2009 Author Posted October 24, 2009 (edited) I figured out why it wouldn't update, Daemon Tools had a virtual drive loaded so it must of been looking at that drive. I am now trying to burn Batman again after updating the firmware and using the latest ImgBurn. Wish me luck Edited October 24, 2009 by pozativenrgy

Cynthia Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Those times I've seen the issue with the track being smaller is often that the burner don't like the brand of media very much. Does it happen if you try with another image?
pozativenrgy Posted October 24, 2009 Author Posted October 24, 2009 Are there any major retailers in the US that sell Verbatim discs, such as Best Buy, Target or anyone?
