I have tried all the soulutions you guys have offered (updating firmware, using 4x and 8x speeds) the only one I haven't tried is trying new discs. I wanted to see if there are any other solutions before buying new discs. I have already burned 25 movies with these exact discs and this problem just happened recently. Below is a copy of one of the logs. Also I've noticed a common reason for this problem is that people are trying to use files bigger than what their discs offer, I have already shrunk my file and it seems to come out to exactly what my disc offers and was wondering if this was a problem. You seem to always recommend the verbatims... do you think these are the ones i should go with as well? I have tried a cleaning disc already and it actually worked somewhat I was able to burn one movie and then no luck after that. I will go ahead and buy some new discs.
