ontheeight
Hi, I'm new at this thing all together... I'm just trying to back up some of my movies. I found DVD Decrypter easy to use, but I'm having trouble with ImgBurn. I ripped a copy of the TV series "House" I have to a folder in the "file" format, not the "ISO". I downloaded ImgBurn, went to the folder where all of the DVD files are, but it did not recognise the files. Can I use ImgBurn to complete the process and have an exact copy ot this DVD, or do I need to rip the DVD in "ISO" mode, ad then go fom there? Any help would be greatly apprated. -Ian
CouJo
Good question. Some more questions: Was the source DVD a DVD5 or DVD9? Have you ripped all files? Without these information an answer will be like reading the lines in your hands. Greets, CouJo!
blutach
If it is a DVD-5, as Coujo as suggested, then rip in ISO mode and write with ImgBurn. ImgBurn only writes ISO images - not VOB/IFO/BUP files. If it is a DVD-9 (which the the likely case), you will need to shrink it and then write it (unless you plan to do a dual layer write). Wesociety
And of course if the source disc was a DVD5 and he already has all the files ripped he can just create the ISO using Coujo's tool ! IMGTool Classic
