teja
I know this is probably a dumb question, but why verify if you are not using a re-writable disc, if something went wrong I have to through away the DVD anyway.
Cynthia
How should you else know if you have to through it away or not?

laserfan
If it don't work in my DVD player If all you are doing is making DVD movies for your set-top player, then you probably don't need to Verify, because it might play fine even with errors, depending on what/where/how many etc. No one could tell from your original post the context of your question--of course if you are burning important DATA to your DVD then you will want to Verify every time!
