All DL issues and workarounds are covered in this thread:

http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000

Im not buying more expensive discs these ones have worked just fine, ill burn one more disc and hope it works because if it doesn't id say its more of a img burn or driver problem however both have not changed so I don't know how either could be a problem as much as the discs could be

That thread tells you about some other things you can try to get your current media working.

There's an issue between your drive, firmware and media combo. You need to change something about one of them if it continues to fail. Makes no difference to me what you eventually decide on.

That's just a fluke.

Now the fluke could work either way. Either you were lucky to get a decent burn on your 6th attempt or you were unlucky to get a bad burn on your 5th.

Without PIPO/Disc Quality scanning the discs, you've no way of knowing how good/bad the quality is of the ones that burnt successfully. You may have been within 1% of them all failing for all you know.

Even a successful burn can still be awful.
