Tried upgrading firmware done, tried writing at 2x but cant find IMAPI in win 7? Any ideas?

Have you been able to burn Blu-ray with this burner before?

You are using quality media so there might be something defective with you burner.

Posted (edited)

i think theres no IMAPI for Win 7....

thats probably why u didnt find it...

Try a lens cleaner on your burner then burn again...

If the above fails, the laser might have died....

sorry :innocent:

Hi

Yeah i think the laser died. I tried burning a bluray with another programme and a error code came up and it never burnt. What i dont get is that i can read a bluray with it but it not writing. Its under warranty think so will see if i can get a replacement. I got it off ebay from korea so wish me luck lol.

Andrew.
