What do you think of the Dexterix changer?

Where can I find more to read about the changer settings?

The Guide just says :"not included in guide".

I searched the forums but nothing real.

The Dexterix guy wrote me this:"

Unfortunately I think you would need Imgburn's support for intergrating Dexterix with their software. Their Guide does not provide info on this topic (see "4.3 Changer") at this time.

If you can get them having a look on our http://www.dextimus.com/customize.html, they could probably do it quite easily. Bin management would be under Dexterix control for your application, so Imgburn should only issue simple "load" and "unload" commands. To avoid collisions, the trays should open one at a time (don't allow a new drive to open its tray while an other tray is open).

The PC/tower case should be under 20cm wide (19cm better). You could probably use a slightly wider case, but it will be difficult to position the robot in order to have access to the bins on both sides.

Please keep me informed with your progress and good luck."

I want to burn multiple image files in a queue...and i'm used to blowing things up...in mines :pirate::pirate:;) so please help the helpless :'(

Hello.

Do you think it will work?

Compared to other changes $890 seems reasonable...

I haven't bought it cause if Imgburn can't manage it I'm back to square 1.

So I can't see if Image burn will "pick it up" and then let it manage the bin?

Do you recommend some other changer?

Thank you!

hie! :'(

do you see the tears in my eyes? its my nuts your squeezing! >_<

I thought my screen name was funny, but the joke's on me :teehee:

This Nimbie, it looks like an octopus...its 580% more expensive...

I will have to rent extra space just to warehouse the contraption

I love Imgburn, how much can I contrabute for you to even consider to include the Dexterix in v2.5.1.0?

LIGHTNING UK!

I'm sorry to hear you don't want support it.

The Nimbie is a turtle compared to the Dexterix.

Well you've got a nice program but without the hardware its useless, to me.

Thank you for giving me some advice.

I want to burn 700 different images at a time

The little Nimbie will take 4ever!

To go to 700 I will need to spend +$5000 compared to $890!

The Nimbie (for my application) is slow and expensive.

This program is called IMGBURN, duplication towers don't need PCs nor IMGBURN.

Here I am offering a real challange and I'm told IMGBURN is for small little Nimbies!

I can use PowerIso to burn multiple images too and automate the tray...what's the difference between IMGBURN and PowerISO then?

I need help, but what I'm getting is resistance and a "no we only support Nimbies" :/

Its not a joke, its a disaster!

What on earth are you going on about?!

Get them to send me one and I'll support it.

Otherwise I really can't be bothered when you're the only person with one and so far you've come across as a bit of a twat. No offence.

EDIT: Actually, forget that. You have to talk to the unit over a serial port. When they come out with a DLL to do the job and possibly a USB interface I might consider it.
