Verbatim failure

I burnt about 4 different movies with no problem, same drive , same media (Verbatim), last one failed right off the bat.

If so, bin it and try again.

 

8x might not be the optimal speed for that drive/firmware/media combo.

 

The logs show you using 2 different disc dyes there, TYG02 (which worked) and MCC 03RG20 (which didn't work).

 

I'm a huge fan of TYG02 myself so I'd stick with that one if possible.

Thanks, I also prefer Ty's, had both so I have been using them.
