Can IMG Burn make back up copies of PS3 games? 2. Do I have to have a blu-ray drive in order to read said PS3 games on my computer? 3. Do the backup copies have to be on blu-ray discs in order to be played on PS3? 4. Do I have to have a blu-ray burner in order to make backups of my PS3 games? I guess I am not fully aware with what all imgburn can do. Please help, Thanks
irishfarmer Posted March 21, 2010 Author Posted March 21, 2010 You can't run backups on the PS3. Let me make sure that I understand you correctly. This software will not make back ups of PS3 games? Correct? Are you or anyone aware of any kind of software that will make back ups of PS3 games?

I am not having any luck. I am afraid to try some random software because I don't want to get taken advantage of. When I google that subject I keep getting the same answers. I also find sites stating that these other places are scams. I don't know what to believe. Very confused!!
mmalves Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 PS3 games use BluRay media that a normal BluRay drive can't read. Even if you manage to read a PS3 disc, the PS3 doesn't run games burned on BD-R or BD-RE media. As you can see they did their homework on how to prevent piracy.
