jfriesen1 Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 I'm pretty much a newbie with this. I have a large application file downoladed onto my C drive. IT is a bin file. Is there a way I can use Imgburn to create a cd (or DVD?) disk that will let me install the program in my computer (XP PRo)desktop. I tried to search 'bin file' on this forum but got no results. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
eSkRo Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 u can mount the BiN file to a virtual drive,,, use ViRTUAL CLONE DRiVE or DVDFAB ViRTUAL DRiVE both are Freeware

jfriesen1 Posted March 27, 2010 Author Posted March 27, 2010 I created the virtual drive and chose the bin application file for it. However, all the files on the new virtual drive ended up as QuickTime mov files. How can that happen???!!!! Any ideas on where I went wrong?
Cynthia Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 You have QucikTime associated with the file endings for the files on the virtual drive?
eSkRo Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 please post a screenshot of the content of your BiN file
