Track Names Did Not get Burned on audio CD

words

Recommended Posts

I read the directions from the following link:

http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=5555

I created a CUE file comprised of MP3 and WAV files.

The track names came through from AUDACITY program o.k.

On the CD-TEXT fields, I clicked on Custom and added the name of the Performer. The name of the track was already there from the information I had entered in AUDACITY.

But after the audio CD was burnt, the names of the tracks appeared as Anonymous.

I would post the Log if I knew how to. I've already closed the IMGBURN program.

Thanks for any help (advice, links, etc) you can offer.

The following is the Log file of the session:

WMPCDText is a plug-in for Windows Media Player that adds support for reading CD-Text. WMPCDText will read CD-Text directly from within Windows Media Player. So this plug-in will allow the user to view the track names/song titles when using Windows Media Player. But I'd still like to know if it's possible to view the track names when playing a CD burned with IMGBurn using iTunes without having to manually edit the names in iTunes or other music player software.

Here's a link to WMPCDText:

Thanks for your help.

What's ID3 tagging and how do I do that with IMGBurn?

The Song Titles appear in IMGBurn when I select FILENAME under CD-TEXT. The filenames are the same as the Song Titles. I can then select CUSTOM and edit the track name if I choose.

I got WMP to read the track names with the addon called WMPCDTEXT.

iD3tag is for Mp3's...

when listening to MP3 songs in a cd player,

if they are id3tag'ed,

youll see the name of the performer

and the name of the song...

what i suggest you to do is,

take all your Mp3's that u want to create an audio cd with,

and add id3tags to all of them...

u can use Mp3tag v2.46a --> http://download.mp3tag.de/current/mp3tagv246asetup.exe

once they are all tagged,

add them to ImgBurn using the Create Audio CD guide

then select this option for each song

  • RPxoXs.jpg

then try again,,, works for me
