Ceo Posted April 6, 2010 Author Posted April 6, 2010 http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 Thanks for that but i know that the "best" disks are the Verbatims but i didn't know that when i was coming home with a 50 pack of memorexs even if i can get 1 of the 50 to burn i will be satisfied because now i cant return the package, i was hoping that something was wrong my my configurations that i could just fix..
eSkRo Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 (edited) theres not much u can do quite frankly... burning successfully is a matter of Media/firmware/Burner combination,,, at least then, 1-install the latest Firmware for your burner --> Here! 2-then buy and use a DVD Lens Cleaner on your Burner --> Here! 3-Try burning your current media at ALL of the write speeds your drive says it supports for that MID (look in the disc info text on the right of the main screen to see what they are) if all of this doesnt work,,, buy VERBATIM Edited April 6, 2010 by eSkRo

Apparently "This firmware is not compatible with the selected drive. Contact your system manufacturer for more information on firmware updates available for this drive" I dont know why this is coming up because i know that this is the drive i have =/

( Which still doesnt work ) Also by going to your advice i went to compaq got some more drivers i updated a few of them. If this doesn't work i guess I will find another computer to do it on, is the program compatible with Mac OS? Also will that "Change Book Type" do anything in this situation?
