Once I had filled in all the correct info to the recommended instructions via http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=11194 it worked very well. I had one question without trying it. What is the difference between this method and the copy method used in programs like Nero. I understand that certain programs don't boot very well if they are cut & pasted but my copy of Vista copied via Nero and boots fine. LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 4, 2010 Share Posted August 4, 2010 If you're just trying to 'copy' a disc then you use Read mode and then Write mode. If you just have an OS installation folder on your hdd then you need to follow the guide you linked to.
