One bad spot using Nero Disc Speed

After burning a disc, and lets say a few months pass by, if one, or even a few bad spots are found on a disc using Nero Disc Speed... could I still transfer the data to a new CD/DVD without having to worry if my data was lost.... or is the entire CD considered useless if just one or a few red dots show up (despite it still being able to be read and data still seems to be there).

Use the Read mode to make an image file out of your disc, and if you don't get any errors then it should be good. If you do get errors then ImgBurn will say which file was affected by that error.
