ianymaty Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Here is a thread with the same problem http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=14229 Only the firmware on that drive is one step behind. Unfortunately no solution for the drive. You have to buy one that actualy do what it says.
flaymon Posted December 27, 2010 Author Posted December 27, 2010 But it's a new laptop, and a damn good one! There's nothing to do?! One of the reasons i bought it is for this things...
ianymaty Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 The laptop may be good but the burner is the problem. Laptop/slimtype burners aren't the best option for burning Dual Layer discs. Regardles of manufacturer they are in general rubbish. Your best option is to buy a normal/full size burner in an external enclosure.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Switch to read mode, put that disc in the drive and copy + paste the disc info. Does it have the same problem on all supported speeds? What about with MKM-001-00 media? If it's just not doing as it's told, buy an external 'normal' size drive (or just a std internal drive and an enclosure) - they're way better than any slimline drive you could ever have/buy.
