Windows 7 installation

I have down loaded imageburn, and although it has set up the directories in Program files x86, and it seemed to install OK, it wont run.

reinstalled several times to make sure the installation was not to fault.

Cant get it to run.

I am administrator and I have also tried to deliberately run it with the option as Administrator. If I click on the program "ImgBurn.exe it comes back with Windows cannot access the specified item, path, or file.

You may not have the appropiate permissions to access them.

I have used ImgBurn over the years downloaded with other versions of Windows and this has never happened.

I tried to look for previous posts and not found any. Thank you in anticipation of help.

Tried to disable your antivirus program?

Surely this cant be the problem. Not a good idea to disable the antivirus program. I didnt have to do this before.

I have just looked at Kaspersky Application control and the file is not signed. I find that quite strange that the file is not signed.

So I suppose this could be the reason. I have checked the files MD5 sum but I would have rather have had the program signed.
