captjohn Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 I have read the various threads on this topic and I have updated the firmware and am using Verbatim DVD+R DL disks. My burner is a HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH24LS50. I can burn single layer images just fine, only DL gives me problems. I 20:39:33 ImgBurn Version 2.5.5.0 started! captjohn Posted May 3, 2011 Author Posted May 3, 2011 I have no idea where they are made, can't see anything on the disk that indicates this.
mmalves Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Try with the 8x Verbatim DVD+R DL blanks, maybe your burner likes them better.
captjohn Posted May 4, 2011 Author Posted May 4, 2011 I'm using 2.4x disks now, usually the slower disks are more reliable than the faster ones.
captjohn Posted May 5, 2011 Author Posted May 5, 2011 I tried the Verbatium +R DL 8x and they worked! Thanks
