3D disk clone

I have succeded in backing up a few 3D disks using DvdFab and the imgburn engine

I use the clone feature.

One disk I did works in the PC viewing it in PowerDVD

also the image made, can be mounted on a virtual drive, and again, works perfectly in 3D

However, the Blu-Ray 3D disk will nor run in 3D on my LG 3D Blu-Ray player

It misses the initial choice to play in 2D or 3D and therefor proceddes to run in 2D

Any help appreciated

As long as the disc was burned and verified and it plays on PC (the disc not the image), the problem seems to be the player.

Look for a firmware update on producers site that may solve the problem.

Can you show us a log with burn and verify? http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=14632

I have the latest firmware on the burner

This disk will play on the PC and ask if I want 2D or 3D

When puting it in the 3D BluRay player (LG) it does not give this option and goes on the play in 2D

I have had no problem with any other backup of a 3D disk using imgBurn

Are you sure the original disc actually plays in 3D on your LG player?

Either way, it's an issue with your source file.

Sort that out, burn it again and it'll work just fine (assuming the original works).

OK, thanks

The original does play in 3D but it is the only one that has not copy 100% correctly

Go to DVDFab forum and tell there your problem.

ImgBurn has nothing to do with this. ImgBurn can't copy protected discs.

If you manage to get a working image of the disc (it's your problem how) ImgBurn will burn it to disc exactly as is.
