Posted October 18, 2011 Share Posted October 18, 2011 Install the latest firmware for the drive. http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GH22LP20/files.html Try using all the different supported speeds, 4x might not be the optimal one for your drive/firmware/media combo. catthepatch Posted October 19, 2011 Author Share Posted October 19, 2011 Well, got the new firmware onto the drive, blew out all the dust accumulated in the case and still have windows xp home sp3 showing a 2001 cd driver?
