goose21
Can you post a log from such a burn? Cynthia here is the log file from when i tried to do a dual layer disk Not to sound stupid but when i use the help files on how to burn a blu ray disk the directions to me seem to leave out a few things. I was under the assumption that the directions were from start to finish(Disk to file then back to disk) and not in the middle (File to disk). I can get the file to the hard drive. When i make a file it makes a iso file and the stuff described in the procedure to burn a blu ray don't even show up( no bdsm file or any of the files that were posted to the help file. so far the biggest problem is dual layer. I did a disk under 25 gig and it came out beautiful> tahnk you for your patience. ianymaty
There is a newer firmware for your drive, try with the latest installed. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Lite-On/iHBS212%2B2/files.html
boredombulker
I know this topic is really old but just in case anyone comes across this in the future. I had a similar drive (iHBS112 2) that was actually rebranded as an asus drive (BW-12B1ST). It would not burn DL discs with the one and only asus firmware available. I flashed it as the iHBS112 2 with the latest firmware at the time (PL06) and was able to burn a DL with imgburn but it fails verification. I tried again with Cyberlink Power2go 8 and it worked fine, no problems. I'm not sure where the problem lies but for some reason it wouldnt burn in imgburn. spinningwheel
Cyberlink Power2go 8 Doesn't do the evaluation of the burned disc the same way the ImgBurn does, therefore will not show errors that you see in ImgBurn.
