HELP! Problems with burning video to DVD!

I sound thick I know but I have just burned six 2-4 gb videos to dvd and then labelled them nicely ie bought some labels and texted and printed nice labels to go on on each individual dvd. Nostalgia right?

When I tried to play them on my dvd player (although it does on pc) its unreadable!

I recently uploaded and converted vhs and 8mm camcorder tapes to my pc via a converter which is great. I believe now they are all MPEG format.

Now, firstly I have 100s of converting mobile phone video of my daughter converted to WMV. I as well as the MPEG videos painstakingly click on what I believe was the right buttons on imgburn program.

Now after all this it doesn't play on my tv dvd player :'(

Can somebody help me with the correct procedure to successfully burn these videos onto dvd before I waste anymore blank discs.

Thanks in advance.

Scott

ImgBurn just burns as-is.

If you want a DVD Video disc you'll have to convert your files into that format and then burn that. You can use something like DVD Flick or ConvertXtoDVD for the conversion.

The alternative is to buy a player that supports playing the files you've got.
