Been using Imgburn for a couple of years no problems until last couple of days, my LG Blu-ray/DVD burner ( GGW H20L) behaving very odd. Wasted at least 12 DVDs trying to record some files! Use a PC with Windows 7, 64 bit. Trying to burn some photograph files to a DVD as usual, always do two copies one DVD-R, one DVD+R. Always use Taiyo Yuden and Verbatim, same stack of disks been using for ages, know they're good disks. Drive won't read or write DVD+R, or occasionally will burn, but then in verification stage crashes and says:- I/O error! ScSi Status 0x02 Interpertation: check condition CDB 28 00 0001 1880 00 00 01 00 Interpretation: Read(10)-Sector: 71808 Sense area Interpretation: Unrecovered Read Error. But yet it will (sometimes) burn a DVD-R , and seems to read them OK. Drive now won't read previously burned DVD+R which I know are OK. Drive will sometimes read previously burned DVD-R, albeit slowly . Just purchased a cleaning disk, as seen recommended elsewhere on here, but it won't even spin/recognise the disk! LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 19, 2012 Share Posted August 19, 2012 If the drive won't see your cleaning disc, you'll have to attempt cleaning it manually. I'm sure you can Google for how to do that.
