cruzer_fx Posted September 22, 2012 Share Posted September 22, 2012 I have a SONY DVD RW DRU-880S dvd drive. I'm trying to burn a Double Layer dvd and wanted the book type to be "DVD-ROM". I changed the book type to DVD ROM by choosing NEC as my OEM and i got a success message. But after clicking on refresh i still see "Book Type: DVD+R DL" is this ok or should it change to "Book Type: DVD ROM" ? LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 22, 2012 Share Posted September 22, 2012 The 'ADIP' values never change, they aren't supposed to. The 'Last Recorded' ones do though - but only after you've actually burnt the disc as that's when the drive updates that info. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
