Ive done about 10 other burns with the same discs just different ISOs and only had 1 error before which was different to this. Any ideas what the issue is ? LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 22, 2012 Share Posted September 22, 2012 Your drive is reporting a generic 'Write Error' as it tries to burn to the discs (so it has a problem with them). Ive used this discs lots in the past, I even tried updating my firmware as it was old before but i burnt around 15 successful ISOs on these discs before. This latest batch of 10 discs all worked except the last 3 on that specific ISO failing at 42% every single time. Ive ordered some Verbatim discs instead off eBay play play-japan, Where's the best place to get discs from for a decent price? Not up for paying UK prices as their crazy!
