I use YTDownloader to download videos to my PC, then DVDFlick to convert video and audio files, then DVDFlick automatically uses IMGBurn to create a DVD. My IMGBurn settings are default. Quick Erase is set No. How do I change to Quick Erase: Yes? 2) Before starting IMGBurn process I insert a brand-new disc into the drive, and also have deleted the files on my PC hard drive from a previous disc creation (c:\users\user\documents\dvd\dvd\) So why does IMGBurn do an "erase disc" process" ? what is it erasing? sdnetizen complete beginner in all this DVD creation stuff Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 11, 2013 Share Posted February 11, 2013 New DVD+RW have to be formatted before they're used for the first time. By default, ImgBurn will actually do a full format on any disc that doesn't have a 'Formatted' status of 'Yes' (as shown in the disc info box on the right when you're in Write mode).
