Cynthia Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Might be a burner that's started to crap out. I 16:20:01 OPC: Yes Could try with that option disabled, I've had some burners that went bananas with that option enabled, especially if they are near the death date.

I 16:20:01 OPC: Yes Could try with that option disabled, I've had some burners that went bananas with that option enabled, especially if they are near the death date. Ive tried multiple things, i just ordered a different drive but it will take a while because it is shipping internationally. Idk what coult be going on..... HP does not support any firmware updates unfortuantely. And ive copied the settings exactly, and it just hangs on the finalization part. I put money into this drive, but im to cheap to give it up! Thanks Anyway Cynthia your help is appreciated.

But its very strange that out of 50 disks only one would finalise, is their a way to manually finalize disks?

I have heard of that, what is the Death Date or how many burns do you normally get as I 2 have the same problem and I think it is the burner. 3 to 5yrs old now.
