"Tools -> Drive -> Set Read Speed" Are these buttons, that patch some stuff o the drive its self because I tested it and clicked "8x" and that read speed was not checked? Why would this feature be in the "Write mode" any way, does ImgBurn read the disc while writing or is that for verifying? Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 18, 2013 Share Posted June 18, 2013 Those options are nothing to do with which mode you're in. They'll just send the appropriate command to tell the drive to read at that speed. If you then do a simple file copy from disc to hdd in explorer, the drive should be reading at 8x (spinning at a speed giving an 8x transfer rate). Not all drives honour the chosen read speed.
