Posted September 19, 2006 Share Posted September 19, 2006 Either the drive is just producing bad burns on that media or the drive isn't working properly as it just can't re-initialise the disc - hence the 'Unable to Recover TOC' message. Test mode doesn't burn anything. ive ran it in test mode, and in burn mode, i ran into problems when i treid to do burnmode with verify, but i turned that off however, the dvd still ends up blank, but unusable because my writer did right "something" to it also i know the iso is a good file becuase i mounted it on my computer and was able to watch it Edited September 19, 2006 by mediocrerevolution Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Posted September 19, 2006 Share Posted September 19, 2006 I just meant that if you had 'Test Mode' enabled, you were much more likely to get a successful burn (because the drive isn't actually writing to the media) - but of course then the disc would still be blank (and no verify would take place). A normal burn + verify (without 'Test Mode') should complete just fine but yours seems unable to reinitialise the disc once it has burnt to it. Not much I can do about that I'm afraid.
