Ffuquenn Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 I purchased a book 3 days ago that came with a tutorial DVD attacked. I got my right hand hurt yesterday. It is now very awkward for me to put the DVD disk on the tray properly. I want to have all the UDF files on the DVD disk transferred to the HDD in my PC so that Media Player can play the files easily. How to achieve this, please? Thanks.
dbminter Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 What kind of DVD is it? Is it a video DVD or does it contain some kind of non video data files?
dbminter Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Oh, wait, you said so media player can play them. So, it depends on what kind of media is on the disc. AVI, MP4, etc. Along as it's not a DVD Video, with a VIDEO_TS folder and VOB files inside it, you can use My Computer to drag and drop the contents to HD. Even if it is a Video DVD with a VIDEO_TS folder, if the disc isn't protected by CSS or other video content protection, you can just drag and drop the VIDEO_TS folder to HD. Then, you can open the VIDEO_TS.IFO inside the VIDEO_TS folder in Windows Media Player to play the DVD Video contents. If you can't drag and drop the VIDEO_TS contents, then the disc is protected. We can't help with protected video discs, I'm afraid.
