crazeethai Posted October 24, 2006 Share Posted October 24, 2006 I recently just bought this burner (Pioneer DVR-K15) and was wondering does anyone else have problems burning DL media? I admit I have inexpensive media, but my previous OEM Lite-On never had any problems with it. I believe I have the newest firmware and have tried various methods and made numerous coasters. Other than getting different media does anyone have any suggestions? If not, can anyone recommend a slim combo drive from newegg.com that has been tried and true for DL? lfcrule1972 Posted October 24, 2006 Share Posted October 24, 2006 I know you don't want this answer but if you're not using Verbatim Data Life Plus DVD+R DL discs for your dual layer burns you are just setting yourself up for problems. I have tested a few of the other types of dye (in the drives and media forum on this site) as have others who have posted here and they really are very hit and miss. My recommendation would be to get the only DL media we recommend and see how you get on. Cheaper really is a bad option with DL burns Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
