MartyC Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Hello. I have a bootable USB flash stick which can be used for installing Windows 7 on computers and would like to extract the bootable .iso image. I would like to be able to use it to install windows 7 into VM Virtual Box for example. I would appreciate some help.
dbminter Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 What might work is to use USB ImgTool to make an .IMG file of the bootable flash drive. Virtual CloneDrive should mount this .IMG as a virtual optical drive. Then you could try using ImgBurn to read the mounted virtual drive to an .ISO file. I don't know if this will work, but it's about the only thing I can think of that might work. Good luck.
ianymaty Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 There is a guide for this http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?/topic/11194-how-to-create-a-windows-vista-7-8-installation-disc-bootable-using-imgburn/
