Hello,

a while ago I had problems burning an iso with Imgburn.
Now the fault lay with the age of the DVD.
I bought Verbatim DVD + and no problems.

I am now looking for CD + rom Verbatim data life plus media, this seems to be too good, but in Belgium they can not be found
Can someone give me a webshop where I can buy them please.

Thanks

That's thanks to our auvibel tax. I order all my blanks from NL or Germany. I'll have a look through my webshop bookmarks this weekend.

I know in the States, I used to find them on Amazon.com, but I don't think they're available there anymore.  Now, I think you can only get the DataLife Plus Verbatim CD-R from the Verbatim web store.

ge hebt misschien gelijk, ik heb juist naar mijn cd roms gekeken en het zijn allemaal  -

als je dan een goede link hebt voor te posten van Verbatim cd-rom ben ik tevreden

thanks

I would be curious to see proof of CD+R because it never existed.  CD-R and CD-ROM were all there were, at first.  Then, after DVD-R, DVD-ROM, and DVD-RAM came out, a group of companies decided they wanted in on the profit and created their own standard: DVD+R and DVD+RW.  Just to add more confusion and restart the format wars.

Yup, but they won my mind. DVD+r is for me far superior then dvd-r. And to add more confusion +r was then again abandoned for BD's :-P

Damn people, make up your ffing mind :-D

I do prefer DVD+RW over DVD-RW but DVD-R to DVD+R.  DVD-R is slightly larger and while it doesn't matter with modern players, DVD-R was more universally accepted in players.  Once DVD+R became an accepted standard, it was more universally adopted by manufacturers.  DVD+RW has faster write and erase speeds and the LeadIn writing doesn't take as long.

And, at first, BD didn't win because there was another format war with HD-DVD!

Those two links are the same.  And they're not Verbatim's web store, so I don't know if they will even send to your location.

You can only get them in cake stacks of 50 or packs of 10.

If it doesn't say DataLife Plus on them, they then need to say AZO on them.  It's interchangeable.

Hi,

sorry but I have been operated on my jaws and the anesthesia will not yet be completely finished, I think.

1/ https://www.verbatim.com/subcat/optical-media/cd/datalife-plus-cd-recordable/

2/ https://www.verbatim.com/prod/optical-media/cd/datalife-plus-cd-recordable/cd-r-azo/

3/ https://www.verbatim.com/subcat/optical-media/cd/datalife-plus-cd-recordable/

The problem is, I need only 5 cd-rom.
Can I buy myself at Verbatim, I do not see a link to a store anywhere

can you help me find a link, here in Belgium I do not exactly find them.

Ch3vr0 also took a look at his bookmarks

Thanks in advance

Ed

If there's a Show Products button on a page, click it.  The Buy Now button will take you to the Verbatim store, but I don't know if that's only for the United States or not.

It depends on what you want.  The AZO link doesn't have labels you can print to.  The other pages link to pages with DataLife Plus CD-R you can print labels to, but there are different kinds depending on the printer you have.

You can't just buy 5.  You have to buy either 10 or 50.

Superior is a subjective statement.  I say DVD-R was superior because when I needed DVD, I needed something that was compatible with DVD players.  15 years ago, DVD-R was more compatible with players than DVD+R.  So, what if someone has an older player and needs to play one of my DVD's?

Yes, the size differentiation is negligible except when it comes to ImgBurn build jobs where you can get a case, as I have, where DVD+RW was just slightly too small to hold a job.

Hey,

friends, for the sake of clarity I am looking for one
cd-rom date life plus media
I saw in my web links that Verbatim only sells in the USA.
Maybe someone knows a shop outside the US

Thanks

Try your country's version of Amazon and do a search for Verbatim AZO CD-R.  If you can't find it under DataLife Plus, AZO is the same thing.  Or, try any web store you buy from and search for Verbatim AZO CD-R.

5 packs do not exist. Packaging starts at 10

Shop 1: https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/search?cid=0&q=verbatim cd-r&As=False&Isc=False&Sid=True&category=||Category%3aCD+Blank+Discs

Shop 2: https://www.informatique.nl/zoeken/?k=20180921&q=verbatim+cd-r&s=

Shop 3: https://azerty.nl/search-bar?keywords=verbatim+cd-r#!sorting=12&limit=12&view=grid

I usually get mind from link 1. Takes about a week to arrive, and i don't order much as i always buy in bulk (multiples of 100). Last order i placed, was for about 400 DVD+r's

Without actually having bought them, I can't say, but it does say both DataLife Plus and AZO.  So, it seems good to go.  However, you may not need printable surface CD-R.  You can still use them, of course, but without the proper printer, you can't print labels on their surfaces.  And that printer type depends on what they mean by "printable."  There are a few kinds, like inkjet, which is probably what they mean.  As I said, you can still use them, but if you don't plan on printing to the label surface, you can save money by getting the branded AZO discs instead.
