dbminter
I suggest some kind of Import and Export settings under Tools. While one can export or import the Registry key with the ImgBurn settings, you have to know how to find them, and not all users will have that knowledge. A simple function under Tools to import or export the Registry key would be useful for the average user. Or even just an Export function to export the Registry key as the user can then just double click on the exported .REG file to add the settings themselves. Thanks! 6000RPM
Or store settings under $APPDATA as a JSON/INI/XML/whatever?
dbminter
I do prefer the old days when apps stored settings in INI files in the directory they were installed in. It made configuring applications on a new system much easier. Plus, INI is safe from when developers change the name of the Registry key they're writing to or change/add/delete branches from the key. If application is installed in $CommonProgramFiles, user won't be able to modify the INI file.
