Choosing root directory problem

Hi,

there is already this topic, but still unanswered for last 14 years:

I have found an easy solution, but this strange forum allows me to create a new topic, but does not allow me to answer the old one.

I use the subst command in the Command Prompt like this:

C:\Users\Me>subst W: E:\Photos\

Now it is possible to build .iso file with "Preserve Full Pathnames" from the drive W: .

That's all!

Why would you want to join up to the forum and resurrect someone else's 14 year old topic?

If you have a problem with the way the software is behaving for you, you should make a new thread... like you have done.

Since 2008, Advanced input mode has been added. You have more control over the disc layout (via the 'disc layout editor' window), so just use that instead of trying to work around things with subst.

O.K., I was using an old version and I did not know about the 'disc layout editor'. When searching solution, I found only 14 year old topic without any answer... But that's why my answer should be there and your reply too. People can find that old topic again and again...
